On Monday, May 2nd, the President of Guatemala, Oscar Berger, graciously received Oregon's Team leader, Gene Albert, Dr. Chuck Pyfer and ABC News reporters in the Presidential House for an interview for ABC News.  The First Lady of Guatemala, Wendy Berger, also gave an interview to ABC news on her important work in the development of Guatemala.  They both expressed their appreciation for the work that HELPS International's volunteers are doing in their country. 

ABC news spent the entire week with the Cascades medical team and the interviews will be a part of a complete news report about HELPS International's volunteer work.  This program will be shown on  KEZI news http://www.kezi.com/ in Oregon at 6:00 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. PST on the days of May 16th thru 21st.
