The San Antonio Team, led by Dr. Mike McCord made it safely back to the US last Wednesday, June 15.  After a very busy week, the team performed over 60 surgeries and saw more than 1,700 patients in clinics.  This was the first time that this Team goes to a Type A hospital and they already are talking about returning next year.  The community of Uspantán was very grateful, in particular due to the fact that they had not had a Med Team since the last HELPS team was there in 2001.

Denise Barker, Missions Director for the University United Methodist Church, met with Rebeca Galindo and Juan Carlos Chevez to define the work plans for a Stove Construction team with the University's students for January 2006.
